Nadia: Yes, hello Sophie, how are you? No, he hasn't gone yet. Yes he's feeling fine, the baby's ok too, the brit was wonderful. Eli is so happy, I've never seen him so happy…I don't know exactly when he's leaving, he hasn't said. Of course I'll send regards Sophie, Bye. (enter Eli) Your mother sends her regards.
Eli: Thanks.
Nadia: Are you leaving?
Eli: Nadia, we've already discussed this, haven't we argued enough? It's good we had a boy this time. I want you to know, it will all work out. You will be happy.
Nadia: Just me? You won't be happy, Eli?
Eli: No, I just meant to say you deserve some happiness.
Nadia: You look very worried Eli.
Eli: The truth is I'm fed up with all this wandering. I'd like to end it all and come back home, for good.
Nadia: So why don't you do that Eli?
Eli: Don't cry Nadia.
Nadia: Eli, I'm afraid one day you'll go and won't come back.
Eli: If I could I'd take you with me.
Nadia: I don't want to go. This is my country, this is my home. I just wish my husband was here too.
Eli: Soon Nadia, soon.
